Find answers to common questions about our thermal technology and ordering.
What is a TOG rating?
TOG stands for Thermal Overall Grade. It is a scientific measure of a garment's thermal effectiveness; the higher the TOG rating, the warmer the product keeps you.
How should I wash my Heat Holders® socks?
To maintain the brushed thermal fibers, we recommend machine washing at 40°C (104°F) and avoiding tumble drying to preserve the loft of the yarn.
Are Heat Holders® suitable for diabetics?
Yes, our socks are non-binding and circulatory-friendly, making them an excellent choice for individuals with diabetes or cold feet due to circulation issues.
Do you offer different sizes for men and women?
Yes, we offer specific sizing for men, women, and children to ensure a comfortable fit and maximum thermal efficiency.
What makes Heat Holders® warmer than regular wool socks?
Our advanced Japanese-designed thermal yarn combined with our patented long-loop cushion pile and intensive brushing process traps more warm air close to the skin.
Can I wear these with my regular boots?
While our socks are thicker than standard socks due to their thermal construction, they are designed to fit comfortably in most casual boots and wellies.
